Frequently "Axed" Questions

Since we are the safest axe throwing lanes in the metroplex, we can allow throwers age 12 and up! Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian signed waiver.

Our normal hours are listed below, but these can change based on holidays, etc. If you click on the Lewisville  or Rowlett at the top right of the page, you can input the number of throwers you have, and a calendar will display. Click on any day highlighted in green and you can see all the available dates.

Private events can be booked at almost any time. If you do not see a date and time you want, you can always try giving us a call! 

There is limited space in the throwing areas, but if you keep the spectators to a minimum, that should be fine. Keep in mind that virtually anyone can participate – from age 12 and above! No reason they should not join in the fun!

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the throwing room, but you can always book paintball for them during our normal hours while you throw axes.

CLOSED-TOE SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.   No one will be permitted to participate without the proper shoes.   So, no flip flops, bare feet, sandals, etc. For the rest of your body, loose comfortable clothing is a good idea. Picture the throwing motion, so you will not want to wear anything that restricts that movement.

Axe throwing is very safe! It is important that you listen to and follow all the safety rules, but if you do, it is a very safe sport. It is one of the safest throwing experiences you can have, as our targets are easier to stick (so you don’t have to throw as hard), and our safety-designed target system helps minimize bounces!

Yes, we have a BYOB policy that allows beer and wine only. There is a two drink maximum per person during your axe throwing stay.

Sure! You are free to bring in your own food.  You can also order in food from a restaurant of your choice. Your reservation confirmation will tell you local pizza places that deliver!

Our Lewisville location has eight lanes and our Rowlett location has 10 lanes. 

You can have up to six throwers per lane.

If you have six throwers, you will have a lane to yourself. If less than six, we don’t reserve an entire lane. If we are busy, you will have other throwers on your lane. If we aren’t busy, we will do our best to keep you separate.
